Artist talk in conjunction with Ojai Studio Artists' Nature’s Canvas: Exploring Taft Gardens Through Art open in the gallery June 7 – July 26, 2025.

A talk about the Taft Garden as a source of inspiration for two very different artists, Gayle Childress's painting are inspired by her love of color and form, she describes her work as "as a form of poetry, a way to convey my thoughts or feelings through the visual senses." Brian Berman is a sculptor whose work incorporates natural forms and conveys themes of connection and transformation. "Through my art, I aim to inspire love, compassion, and unity, encouraging a more peaceful and connected world."
