This November, Tawny Trails is reclaiming the word “naughty” — and giving you official permission to put yourself first.

Before the busy December holiday rush arrives and you find yourself looking after everyone else, why not gather your besties and escape into the hills for some guilt-free me-time?

For one spectacular weekend, our private galleries and artist studios will open their doors alongside Tawny Trails’ treasure trove of natural beauty, boutique cafes, vibrant art galleries, and gorgeous mountain getaways.

Take a scenic drive into the Mt Glorious and Dayboro hills. Linger over a long coffee or lunch. Step behind quiet studio doors. Discover local artists. Wander through beautiful forests. Or simply take your time and enjoy a day where you decide what happens next.

This is Naughty November.

The idea is simple: put yourself first — and bring someone along who deserves a little spoiling too.

Along the way, keep an eye out for a few cheeky surprises waiting at participating trail stops. There may be playful permission slips, moments designed to help you pause and reset, local sips, thoughtful treats and other little discoveries created especially for Naughty November.

We won't give everything away.

Tawny Trails is where arts and nature meet, bringing together the creative culture of the Moreton Bay hinterland with adventure, great food, gorgeous walks, private artist studio experiences, mountain accommodation, cultural destinations and even a world-renowned winery.

The Tawny Trails art and lifestyle map is now live, with ready-to-go self-guided itineraries or the freedom to create your own adventure using the interactive map and detailed information available online and through the phone app.

And if you've always wanted to discover what happens behind an artist's studio door, Naughty November is a particularly good time to do it.

The Naughty November trail weekend takes place Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, from 10am–4pm.

Two days means there's no need to rush. Split the trail across a weekend, explore different areas, stop for lunch, linger a little longer — and why not stay overnight?

With gorgeous mountain getaways close to the trail, you can turn a great day out into a proper hinterland escape.

After all, you know you deserve it.
