Join us for this Free online event series where you'll gain valuable insights into navigating the NDIS, making informed choices and understanding safeguarding measures. These interactive and informative sessions are designed to empower individuals with disabilities and their families or informal networks.
This NDIS information session series is hosted by SSI local area coordination Program in collaboration with Liverpool City Council.
Whether you’re just starting your NDIS journey or looking to expand your knowledge, this event series will aim to give you with the tools you need to navigate the NDIS with confidence.
Topics to be discussed:
Session 1 (Wednesday 8 October)
NDIS Access: Understand the access pathway and the necessary evidence required to support you to apply for the NDIS.
Session 2 (Tuesday 28 October)
My NDIS Navigation: Learn strategies for effectively collaborating with NDIS supports and tailoring your NDIS plan to meet your goals.
Session 3 (Tuesday 11 November)
Fraud Detection and Participant Rights : Understand how to detect fraud and your rights as NDIS participant.
By attending these interactive sessions you can seize the opportunity to e-meet with local area coordinators (LAC's) and seek answers to your questions.
Please Note: This session is for community members, If you are a NDIS provider, you're welcome to attend only when supporting a person with a disability. Please note that this session is not a space for promoting services.
