Event description

Join us for this free event where you'll gain valuable insights into navigating the NDIS, making informed choices and understanding safeguarding measures. This interactive and informative session is designed to empower individuals with disabilities and their families or informal networks.

This NDIS information session is hosted by SSI Local Area Coordination Program in collaboration with City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council.

Whether you’re just starting your NDIS journey or looking to expand your knowledge, this event will aim to give you with the tools you need to navigate the NDIS with confidence.

Topics to be discussed:

  • NDIS Access: Understand the access pathway and the necessary evidence required to support you to apply for the NDIS. 
  • Understanding Choice and Control: Learn strategies for effectively collaborating with NDIS supports and tailoring your NDIS plan to meet your goals. 

Morning tea and refreshments provided. 

By attending this interactive session you can seize the opportunity to meet with Local Area Coordinators (LAC's) and Canterbury-Bankstown Council's Access and Inclusion officer and seek answers to your questions. 

Please Note: This sessions is for community members only. If you are a NDIS Service Provider, please do not register as you are not permitted to attend.
