Navigating a Chaotic World
Event description
Are you thinking that perhaps religions don’t own God, corporations don’t have all the control, governments don’t have all the responsibility, and what actually is freedom anyway?
Have you heard the call to bring wisdom, intelligence and calm
to this chaotic world?
The Emissaries of Divine Light (SA) warmly invite you to a series of interactive workshops to be held during September and October. We’ll be looking at:
Who are we?
Why so much chaos?
What does it mean to be conscious?

About Facilitators:
Ruth French is a Riverdell resident and Spiritual Focus at the Riverdell Spiritual Centre. Ruth has many years of experience in assisting others to realise their own potential through mentoring and workshops. Ruth is particularly passionate about the Primal Spirituality program that the FSE is based around, and spent many years traveling the world growing her experience in spiritual matters. Ruth can be found in the Riverdell Sanctuary every Sunday morning, leading our Sunday Service gathering, and on the first Sunday of each month, leading and participating in an International Service offered at Riverdell via the internet. When Ruth is away from Riverdell, she enjoys singing, nature walks, and maintaining connections throughout the community.
Cheyne’s life has been shaped by a love of exploration, learning, and community. Growing up on the east coast of Australia, she followed her curiosity into the wider world, spending three years living in Europe and the United Kingdom. It was in Italy that she first encountered the Emissaries and their teachings, leading her to immerse herself in spiritual community both overseas and later for a decade in Australia.
Her journey of study and self-discovery has been rich and diverse - earning a Master’s in Social Ecology, an Advanced Diploma in Holistic Psychotherapy, and an Honours Degree in Botanical and Wildlife Illustration. Alongside her academic path, she has dedicated much of her career to working with migrants, refugees, and people with disability, as well as holding her own private practice as a Counsellor.
Now based in Canberra & her second home, Riverdell, Cheyne works with the National Disability Insurance Agency, continuing her commitment to service, healing, and supporting others to thrive.
Linda’s journey weaves together the worlds of healing, wisdom, and community. With a background in Naturopathy and Human Resources, she brings both a deep care for wellbeing and an understanding of people. As a Qi Gong Instructor and soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor of Metaphysical Sciences, her path continues to expand into the realms of energy, spirituality, and human potential.
Passionate about humanity’s awakening and the remembrance of our true essence, Linda is devoted to exploring the vast possibilities of who we are. Since discovering the Emissary of Divine Light teachings in 2020, she has found a deep resonance with their messages of love, service, individual responsibility, and community values, which she sees beautifully lived out at Riverdell and its sister communities.
