Originally from New Zealand and now based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Fiona McPherson Grant has spent more than 20 years leading healthcare data and analytics across US health systems, payers, and global software companies. She began her career in enterprise information management and business intelligence, later taking on advisor roles to leadership teams where she focused on data strategy, interoperability, and technology adoption at scale.
As Vice President of Data at Orion Health, Fiona shaped global market strategy for interoperability and data platform tools. Today, through her consultancy FMG Data Works, she advises health systems, startups, and international pharma on data strategy, AI transformation, and scaling processes with next-generation tools.
With experience spanning New Zealand, North America, and global markets, Fiona brings a rare international perspective. She is recognised for her ability to cut through complexity, build trust, and help healthcare leaders turn data and AI into real-world impact.
