Starting or running a business in a new country can present challenges, particularly when business practices, communication styles and workplace expectations differ from those you are familiar with.

This practical workshop is designed for small business owners from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who want to better understand common Australian business practices. You’ll explore communication styles and relationship building while developing practical strategies to navigate cultural differences with confidence.

Through real world examples and interactive activities, you’ll walk away with the skills and confidence to communicate effectively and adapt to the Australian business environment.

• Understanding common Australian business communication styles

• Building trust and professional business relationships

• Navigating cultural differences in business interactions

• Communicating effectively with customers, employers and suppliers

• Practical strategies to avoid misunderstandings and build confidence

This workshop is for small business owners from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who are new to doing business in Australia or want to better understand local business practices.

Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
