Navigating Changes to the NDIS
Description
Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) operating environment is changing, with reforms affecting regulation, pricing, market oversight, workforce expectations and provider accountability. For NDIS providers, these changes will directly influence how your services are delivered, how risks are managed and how viable your business remains over time.
This workshop will examine NDIS reform impacts through a business, governance and risk lens, with particular attention to the most significant risks currently facing providers.
This is an interactive session, with discussions shaped by participant context to ensure insights are practical and relevant. Participants will identify priority actions that strengthen governance, compliance and operational readiness without creating unnecessary administrative burden, leaving with greater clarity and confidence to navigate ongoing change.
This topic covers:
Recent and emerging NDIS reforms and what they mean for current providers.
How regulatory and market changes impact business models, risk and sustainability.
Key operating risks facing NDIS providers.
Identify priority actions to strengthen governance, compliance and operational readiness.
Adapting services while maintaining quality, workforce stability and participant outcomes.
Practical insights informed by current sector analysis and government guidance.
Who it's for
This session is for existing NDIS providers who want to better understand reform impacts, manage risk and strengthen their business.
