Navigating Digital Safety: Children, Young People and Technology Facilitated Abuse
Event description
DVCS invites all members of the community to join this panel event as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence.
This panel aims to unpack the increasing intersection between technology and domestic, family and sexual violence, and the increasing rates of technology facilitated abuse across the lives of children and young people. The discussion will explore the impact of technology on children and young people in the context of DFSV, share insights on current challenges and solutions in promoting and understanding digital safety and discuss actionable strategies for decreasing the rate of technology facilitated abuse.
Our panel features experts from diverse backgrounds that work across the domestic and family violence sector.
This event is open to all in the public and is an opportunity to hear about this critical issue.
There will be sometime for a Q+A at the end of the discussion.
We welcome any questions to be emailed to community@dvcs.org.au as there may be limited time on the day.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
