Holding the Compass Webinar 2: Navigating Life with Funded Supports
Event description
About this webinar series.
Does having paid support really make your life better?
Paid, or formal support, can have an important and enriching role in supporting people with disability to have good lives. People with disabilities and families know from experience that if it’s not done well, rather than contributing to positive outcomes, paid support can limit, and act as a barrier rather than a bridge to the good life.
Presented as a two part webinar series find out in webinar 1 how you can set the direction for success with your paid supports and in webinar 2 how you can develop the skills and confidence to get the most out of paid supports.
Register for one, or both webinars and join us for our online discussion to ask further questions or to explore the topics in greater depth.
Webinar 1: Setting the direction with funded supports

Whilst we encourage you to join us live, this webinar will be recorded and will be available to watch for 7 days after the event.
Bonus 3rd session: Online discussion
All attendees are welcome to join us for an extended online discussion where we will be able to enter more deeply into conversation about these topics and ask further questions. This session will not be recorded.
