Event description

Navigating relationship breakdown- finding confidence to support self and others

We can hear from each other and be supported by PCC and Michael as they bring in their experience and professional lens to our personal experiences.

We will host small group participatory session, where we ask

  1. The Challenges you have faced to your mental well-being?
  2. How you did (or did not) help yourself at that time?
  3. How did others help you & .. how could you support others well?

You will come our feeling heard.. and renew your confidence based on hearing others shared experience.. and maybe an insight or two with some resources offered to steer you on your next step.

  • Michael Wilson from Orygen is a research Phd focusing on relationship breakdown for men and links to mental health and suicide.  He will support the session based on findings from working with men and the wider research field.
  • Parker Cole Curtis - Family Law firm in ACT will share legal resources, their experience in the thorny end of relationship breakdown and offer access to a 30 min complimentary consult to participants wanting to navigate legal system

By the end of this session we hope you'll feel ready to support yourself and your Table to share  fully from the heart, with an attitude of care, and respect for all, which can deepen the trust you hold in each other.

The session is being co-designed with PCC and Michael Wilson from Orygen who reached out to us with questions about to best support men through relationship breakdown. This event is for men who sit at Tables only.
