Navigating Risk Across the Procurement and Supply Chain Lifecycle

AcademyGlobal (AG), a CIPS Study Centre of Excellence for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, is pleased to partner with the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) to host Navigating Risk Across the Procurement and Supply Chain Lifecycle.

Moderated by Charlotte Payne MCIPS, former General Manager of CIPS ANZ and AG Strategic Advisor, this expert panel will bring together senior procurement and risk leaders for a practical discussion on how risk emerges, evolves and compounds across the full procurement and supply chain lifecycle.

Panellists include Rob Halsall FCIPS (Chartered), M.ISRM, former Chief Procurement Officer at Transport for NSW; Myla Bulaon MCIPS, former Head of Procurement, Strategy and Policy at icare; and Dr David Bartlett F.ISRM, Consultant Criminologist and Risk Expert, and Director of Postgraduate and Continuing Education at Griffith University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

From cyber security and modern slavery to financial, operational and reputational exposure, the discussion will explore how procurement professionals can identify, assess and manage risk across the full lifecycle, not only at the point of purchase.

Key themes will include understanding the breadth of risk across procurement and supply chains, moving beyond supplier-focused risk to a whole-of-lifecycle perspective, building organisational capability to navigate grey areas with confidence, and strengthening supply chain resilience in an era of disruption and uncertainty.
