Join us online for Families Australia's policy forum, Navigating Systems: Tracking the Settlement Journey for Multicultural Young People, co‑hosted in partnership with Settlement Services International (SSI) and the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network Australia (MYAN).
This forum will help family and community services, policymakers and advocates better understand the lived experiences of young people trying to settle in Australia. It will explore:
System-level challenges faced by multicultural young people
Experiences of engaging with services
Practical insights to inform policy and service design
Despite Australia having a National Youth Settlement Framework, many young people continue to fall through the cracks. This forum brings together settlement experts and young advocates to share first-hand experiences and policy-relevant insights.
