Join our Navigating the Journey training and gain practical knowledge and confidence to support loved ones, plan ahead, and help build a compassionate community.

Who can attend?

This course is open to everyone. No previous training or experience is required.

The session is designed for community members, community groups, businesses, health and care workers, and not-for-profit organisations who want to strengthen their confidence and skills in supporting carers, family members, colleagues, or people experiencing serious illness or navigating Sorry Business.

Why attend?

Navigating the Journey helps participants better understand how to live well with serious illness, plan ahead, and support others during difficult times.

Participants will gain:

  • Greater confidence supporting people living with serious illness

  • Practical knowledge about planning ahead and making wishes known

  • Skills to support family, friends, and community members

  • A better understanding of palliative and end-of-life care

  • Strategies for self-care and wellbeing while supporting others

By building confidence, compassion and practical skills, the program strengthens communities to care for one another and reduces isolation during life's most challenging moments.
