About the session

Navigating Uncertainty through Gratitude is an interactive discussion and practice facilitated by end-of-life doula and meditation teacher Dina Smirnova. Expect to focus on the art of cultivating gratitude while traversing the beautiful, unexpected and uncertain terrain of life. We will explore effective tools and techniques for challenging times in a supportive space of self-inquiry and reflection, followed by a Q&A.

Dina believes that the way to foster sustainability externally and within our communities is to address ourselves first, particularly by taking a deeper look at how we can cultivate inner balance, self-love and empowerment. Given the recent upheavals in the world, it's important to understand how to navigate the daily uncertainties of life in the current neo-COVID landscape so that we can sustainably support ourselves and our communities.

About Dina Smirnova

Born in Azerbaijan and raised in the US, Dina is a Melbourne-based end-of-life doula and meditation teacher. Since age 11, she has intensively studied the body, voice and breath and draws upon her expertise and ancestral wisdom as the basis of her offerings. Through experiential guidance, she invites her students to embody The Art of Living and Being Present by placing a strong focus on psychosomatic awareness and how to masterfully work with the subtle energy of the breath and body. Throughout her 20 years as a facilitator and practitioner, her guiding principle has been to remind others that the most significant healing resides within.
