NAWIC Queenstown - The Mill, High Performance Sports Hub site visit

As we kick off 2025, join us for a site tour of 'The Mill' Queenstown's High Performance Sports Hub, and newest mass timber structure. 

The facility, designed by architects Warren and Mahoney, will feature a 1200m2 gym, a spin cycle studio, group HIIT studio, a 25m indoor turf track, indoor and outdoor training spaces, a high-tech recovery room, treatment rooms, a contrast therapy zone with infrared/traditional saunas and plunge pools, and a mezzanine meeting and event space.

The Mill is being constructed by Cook Brothers Construction — and is due for completion in March 2025.

At the visit we'll hear from Kristy Jones - Cook Brothers Sustainability Manager, about some of the key features of the build and why mass timber construction could be the future of the construction industry. 

The visit will be followed by light refreshments and nibbles thanks to Cook Brothers Construction. 

Site tour will commence at 5:30pm. Networking & refreshments from 6:00pm.
