This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Share in this exclusive site tour with NAWIC Waikato as we visit the construction site of the Waikato Regional Theatre, a transformative development in the heart of Hamilton’s CBD.

The Waikato Regional Theatre, embraces 100+ years of history by converting the old Hamilton Hotel site and Façade into a new 1,300 seat lyrical theatre. The new facility will support both theatre and orchestral performances, while also providing public connection to the Waikato River. This project is part of an arts-led urban regeneration of Hamilton and due for completion in 2025.

Join NAWIC as we take a look behind the hoardings and view progress on-site over the last 12 months.
