Join us on Saturday, 14 November 2026 at the beautiful Mackenzie Reserve, Budgewoi, for one of NBC’s biggest community gatherings of the year.

❤️ A Celebration for Our Local Bangladeshi Community

This event is organised specifically for Bangladeshi individuals and families living in Newcastle and the Hunter Region. It is an opportunity for our local Bangladeshi community to come together, strengthen connections, welcome new families and enjoy a memorable day with friends and loved ones.

Please note that registration is limited to members of the Bangladeshi community residing in Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

The day will feature delicious food, sports, games, children’s activities, raffle draw, an open stage and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

🎟️ Registration & Payment

To help us plan catering, activities, and other event arrangements, everyone attending the picnic, including children, must register.

Adults aged 18 years and over: $10 per person
Children and young people under 18: FREE

At this stage, you only need to pay the adult registration fee. After you pay, please enter your payment receipt/reference number in the registration form.

For example, if your family consists of 2 adults and 2 children, you only need to pay $20 now. The two children attend free of charge, but please include them in your registration so we have accurate numbers for catering and activities.

After making the payment, please keep your payment receipt/reference number, as you will need it when completing your registration.

🚌 Bus Transport from Jesmond, Newcastle

For the convenience of our community, NBC is planning a return bus service from Jesmond, Newcastle to Mackenzie Reserve, Budgewoi, including both pick-up and drop-off.

The proposed bus fare is $10 per person, including children.

You do not need to pay the bus fare now. During registration, simply indicate whether you and your family members would like to travel by bus.

Once we know the number of interested passengers, NBC will finalise the bus arrangements and contact you separately with payment details, the confirmed pick-up location, departure time, and return information.

For example, for a family of 2 adults and 2 children:

Pay now: $20 event registration for the 2 adults
Children: FREE event registration
Bus payment now: $0
Bus fare later: $40 if all 4 family members choose to travel by bus

So, when you complete your registration now, you'll pay only $20 and provide your payment receipt/reference number. If all four family members select the bus option, NBC will contact you later to arrange the $40 bus payment.
