NBCAN Super Soapbox - The Deaths caused by approving fossil fuel projects

A special NBCAN event, which will expose the cost of each new fossil fuel project in human lives. Nigel Howard will deliver a 15 minute overview of his academic paper, a model developed with some assistance from Professor Peter Newman of Curtin University, which equates each tonne of CO2 with predicted fatalities.

We will also hear from Dr Sophie Scamps, Federal MP for Mackellar and other VIP guests.

The meeting will then be open to anyone to come to the podium and speak for 2 minutes on any topic related to climate, nature or sustainability.
