Event description

Join us to gain valuable insight into the NC IDEA grant review process, meet previous grant awardees, and network with the NC IDEA team and other founders.

Innovate Charlotte will be hosting the NC IDEA FOUNDATION at CRTV Lab @ Shiloh to provide an overview of the upcoming Spring 2025 NC IDEA MICRO ($10K) and NC IDEA SEED ($50K) grants, which provide funding to early-stage, high-growth companies.

During the first part of the session, you will have a chance to learn about NC IDEA and meet some team members, including Amy Bastian and Leigh Blancato, who manage the MICRO and SEED process. In addition, past grant recipients will share their perspectives on the grant application process and on the benefits of being an NC IDEA grant recipient.

The second part of the prep session will provide tips and best practices for writing a successful application, with plenty of time for questions.

Learn more about NC IDEA, NC IDEA MICRO, and NC IDEA SEED on NC IDEA's website. Also, get to know past grant recipients via the NC IDEA company directory and news stories.
