OUR SYMPOSIUM this year wraps around “Communicating the Science of Food to Today’s Consumer.” In an era of evolving regulations and increasing public interest in the food supply, clear communication is critical. Our three expert speakers will share their unique methodologies for translating complex food science into digestible messages for diverse audiences—from consumers to industry leaders. Adam Yee, a food scientist and podcaster, will discuss his approach to engaging storytelling in product development. Zacharie Cartwright will explore podcasting and training techniques to enhance communication. Laura Lampa, a scientific communicator, will share insights on strategic storytelling for innovation.

The Expo will have a great diversity of ingredient and service providers available for 4 full hours so that you can find a supplier or ingredient you need, or reconnect with an existing supplier. We’re well on our way to a near-normal Expo with up to 250 tables to visit. In addition, a student poster competition has been added to the agenda. Be sure to see what our next generation of food scientists are working on (and possibly find your next great employee!)
