NDIS Access and Appeals Information Session - Bridgetown
Event description
Applying for the NDIS or appealing a decision can feel confusing and stressful but you don’t have to go through it alone.
In this free, interactive workshop, our experienced disability advocates will walk you through the process of accessing the NDIS and what to do if your application is declined. We’ll break down each step in a clear and easy-to-understand way, using real-life examples and practical tools.
You’ll learn:
Who can apply for the NDIS and what information you need
How to make a strong access request
What to do if your application is rejected
How internal reviews and appeals work, including timeframes and options
Where to get help from advocacy services and other supports
How to feel confident and in control when speaking up for yourself
Whether you're applying for the first time, supporting someone through the process, or navigating a decision you don’t agree with, this workshop will empower you with knowledge, resources, and support. We’ll take the time to answer your questions and make sure you leave feeling more prepared to take the next step.
This session is designed for people with disability, family members, carers, and support workers and we welcome everyone in your support network to attend.
Because everyone deserves access to the support they need and the confidence to ask for it.
