Join us for a special session focused on improving quality of life for people with disability through better continence care planning.
Hear from Julia McGeever, Continence Nurse Specialist as we unpack assessments, budgeting and product choice – with expert insights from clinical educators from Hartmann MoliCare, Coloplast and Surgical House.
This session is designed for those working with NDIS clients who have daily continence needs - nurses, support coordinators, plan managers. NDIS Participants, parents and carers are also welcome to attend.
We will cover Continence Assessments and Care Plans, product selection, new technology in continence including Luja catheters from Coloplast and premium care products from Hartmann MoliCare. Skin care considerations will also be covered. Surgical House will explain how to pull it all together for effective quotes and better NDIS budgets.

PRESENTER INFORMATION
Julia McGeever - A Senior Wounds, Ostomy and Continence Nurse and a Qualified Continence Nurse Advisor. Julia brings over 12 years senior experience in community nursing with experience in continence care planning for people with disability and those who are ageing at home.
Kim Morgan - With over 15 years of dedicated experience at Coloplast, Kim Morgan - Senior Territory Manager specialises in continence care solutions. She has a profound commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals managing bladder and bowel conditions and assisting health care professionals to find the right solutions for their patients.
Sharni Elwis - National Community Clinical Specialist at Hartmann with extensive experience in wound care and continence management. With postgraduate certificates in clinical nursing – specialising in Neurosciences and professional health education – she is passionate about supporting healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.
THE WEBINAR
The session will be presented online via ZOOM. It is anticipated to run for up to 90 mins depending on questions (which may be submitted via the chat function). A Zoom link will be forwarded closer to the event via the email address used during registration.
