Event description

Join us for an informative NDIS Information Session hosted by Adelaide Disability Care (ADC).

This session is designed to help individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers understand how to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access the support they need to improve their quality of life. While open to all, this session is particularly focused on relatives, caregivers, and individuals who are not yet on the NDIS or are in the very early stages of exploring the scheme.

We will cover all essential aspects of the NDIS, including:

  • What is the NDIS?
Understanding the purpose of the NDIS and the support it provides for people living with disabilities.
  • How to Access NDIS:
Learn how someone with a disability can get started with the NDIS program and what steps to take to uplift their lives through the available services.
  • Finding the Right Help:
Discover how to look for the right help and services to achieve individual goals and how to connect with the best service providers.
  • NDIS Plan Approval:
Learn how to approach getting an initial plan approval if you don’t have a care plan in place, and what information you need to provide.
  • How ADC Can Assist:
Understand how Adelaide Disability Care (ADC) can support you throughout your NDIS journey, offering a range of services tailored to your needs.
  • Support Coordination:
Find out how ADC can connect you with experienced Support Coordinators to ensure you are not overwhelmed by the process and have the guidance you need every step of the way.
  • Leveraging Technology:
Explore how technology can be used to enhance and manage your NDIS plan efficiently.

This session is ideal for individuals who are new to the NDIS or who want to ensure they are getting the most out of their NDIS plan. It is particularly helpful for relatives, caregivers, and people who are not yet on the NDIS but want to understand how to access the scheme.
