Join Us for an Uplifting and Inclusive Silent Disco in West Footscray in September!
We know it's not easy finding organised group activities for NDIS participants and their carers, so we've decided to do something about it!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our special Silent Disco event designed exclusively for NDIS participants and support companions.

Music and dance are more than just fun, they’re powerful tools for enhancing well-being! At our Silent Disco, you’ll experience the many benefits that music and movement can bring:
- Feel Good, Inside and Out: Let the rhythm lift your spirits, reduce stress, and bring a smile to your face. Dance is a fantastic way to express yourself and boost your mood.
- Move at Your Own Pace: Whether you want to dance your heart out, sway gently to the music or sit and enjoy the vibe, our Silent Disco is tailored to suit all abilities. You control your experience with our wireless headphones—choose your favourite tunes from one of our 3 channels and set the volume just right for you.
- Connect or Don't!: With headphones on you can be in your own world and feel the music while at the same time enjoying a shared experience with others.
- Boost Your Mind and Body: Dance improves coordination, balance, and flexibility while also enhancing focus and memory. It’s a fun and gentle way to stay active and healthy.
- Relax and Unwind: The immersive power of music helps you relax, manage pain, and enjoy the moment. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy something different and just be present with yourself and the sounds.
When and Where:
- Date: Wed 11th September
- Time: 1pm to 2:30pm
- Location: RecWest (YMCA West Footscray). Cnr Essex & Market Streets, West Footscray, VIC 3012
- Tickets: $22 each (including booking fee). A minimum of 2 tickets must be purchased per booking (to include a ticket for support companion/carer)

By purchasing a ticket you agree that you:
- Will have a support worker, companion or carer present with you at the silent disco
- Agree to be respectful, considerate and thoughtful of others.
- Understand that photos and videos of the event may be taken and that you may be in footage
