How Much Longer?

The 2027 NECA Victoria's International Women’s Day Luncheon, presented by NECA Victoria in partnership with NECA Education & Careers, is more than a celebration – it is a call to action for women, allies and industry leaders to drive meaningful change across the electrotechnology industry.

With women representing just 3.5% of the electrical workforce, progress is happening, but not nearly fast enough. Inspired by UN Women Australia's 2027 theme, "How Much Longer?", this year's event challenges us to question the pace of progress and take greater responsibility for creating a more inclusive industry.

Through an inspiring keynote on finding the courage to speak up and an interactive workshop focused on feedback and effective communication, attendees will gain practical tools to navigate difficult conversations, make their voices heard and empower others to do the same.

What to expect:

An inspiring celebrity keynote speaker sharing powerful insights on resilience, challenging barriers and creating change. One you DON'T want to miss!
An interactive facilitated workshop exploring how to give and receive constructive feedback, communicate with confidence and turn conversations into positive change.

A delicious three-course meal and drinks.
Opportunities to network and connect with industry professionals, leaders and advocates for change.

Whether you're an industry leader, an emerging professional, an ally or someone passionate about building a more inclusive future, this is your opportunity to be part of the conversation and, more importantly, part of the solution.
