Neck and Upper Limb Dry Needling Course (Melbourne VIC)
Event description
This 1 day specialist Dry needling course will take a deep dive into various pain presentations of the neck and upper limb and explore how we can apply dry needling techniques to support injury rehabilitation and pain management.
This course applies an up-to-date evidence informed approach for treating musculoskeletal and neurological pain presentations.
Participants will be guided through the practical application of dry needling approaches for neck and upper limb pain, mechanical pathology and cervical spine entrapment neuropathy. The dry needling approaches used in this course are also grounded in neurophysiological explanations on the potential mechanisms of action, supported by research.Â
This course explores concepts well beyond just trigger point dry needling, with a clinically reasoned approach to integrate into practice.
The Neck and Upper Limb Dry Needling course also integrates the practical application of exercise combined with dry needling aimed to promote an active approach to injury and pain rehabilitation.
The Neck and Upper Limb Dry Needling course is designed for practitioners with a special interest in pain presentations of this region and who have already undertaken training in dry needling.Â
