We are pleased to share with you that Ned Price will address the virtual ICAS Summer Symposium Veritas 2025 with a particular emphasis on "US National Security and World Affairs" on August 7, 2025, Washington DC.
Ned Price most recently served as the Deputy to the US Representative to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, overseeing the US Mission to the United Nations’ Washington office and, as a Deputy Cabinet-level official, serving as a standing member of the National Security Council’s Deputies Committee. Ned began his most recent stint in government at the Department of State in January 2021, when he assumed the role of Department Spokesperson, a title Ned held until March 2023. He then served as Senior Advisor to Secretary of State Antony J Blinken until Ned took on his leadership role with the US Mission to the UN.
Prior to the State Department, Ned was Co-Founder and Director of Policy and Communications at National Security Action, a non-profit advocacy organization. During the Obama Administration, he served as Special Assistant to President Obama on the National Security Council staff, where Ned also was the Spokesperson and Senior Director for Strategic Communications. He previously was at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was a senior analyst and Spokesperson. Ned has been an NBC News analyst and contributor and taught at Georgetown University and The George Washington University. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and received a Master’s from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Ned is originally from Dallas, Texas, and is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
