Neighbourhood Story Slam: Block Party

Queenstown's only live storytelling event like you've never seen it before! You're invited to Neighbourhood Story Slam: Block Party, an invitational style slam at Memorial Hall celebrating human connection and the art of storytelling.

With sold out shows since Neighbourhood's conception, we hope this event can be inclusive to all who want to see what slams and this community are all about.

Neighbourhood Story Slam is a live community event in which storytellers share a true, personal, lived 5-7 minute story on the night's theme.

"MORAL OF THE STORY": Prepare a story about a lesson life taught you (whether you asked for it or not). A mistake that changed you, advice you ignored, a risk that paid off, or a moment that only made sense in hindsight.

Tell us about the triumphs, disasters, wrong turns and unexpected revelations that left you a little wiser - or at least with a good story to tell. Maybe the lesson was profound. Maybe it was painfully obvious. Maybe you're still figuring it out.

Wisdom is just hindsight with a good story.
