Neil McDonald Kids Livestock Handling School

Neil McDonald is a highly respected Australian working dog and stockhandling educator with decades of experience helping livestock producers improve efficiency, safety and animal welfare. This 5-hour Kids Low-Stress Stockhandling Workshop for young people aged 3-16, is designed to be hands-on, interactive and fun. Through games, stories, demonstrations and supervised activities, kids learn how animals think, how to stay safe around livestock and working dogs, and how calm handling makes jobs easier for both people and animals. The workshop builds confidence, teamwork and problem-solving skills, sparks curiosity about agriculture, and gives kids practical skills they can proudly take home and share. It is encouraged that a parent or guardian also attends.
