Understanding FASD – From Prevention to Lifelong Support
Te Korowai Trust is hosting a FASD Conference bringing together people with lived experience, whānau, caregivers, teachers, youth workers, health professionals and community agencies.
The afternoon will explore FASD across the lifespan, from prevention and understanding faced by people with FASD, through education and supporting rangatahi, to navigating adulthood, justice, relationships and everyday life.
Hear from a range of speakers with knowledge and lived experience of FASD, and gain practical ideas, strategies and a better understanding of how we can support people with FASD to recognise their strengths, reduce barriers and achieve better outcomes.
