Event description

The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum is thrilled to announce our webinar series, where we will be joined by experts across a range of fields as they share their knowledge and experience with us.

First up, we have John King and Greg Hart leading a discussion about regenerative agriculture on Monday 17th August at 7.30pm.

We welcome you to join us to learn more about what regenerative agriculture is, how it can be used, and the connections between regenerative agriculture and climate change. This event is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about regenerative agriculture, including those who have never heard that term before and those who are unsure about its relevance to climate change.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to register via Humanitix to secure your spot!

Those who register will be emailed a link to join the webinar via Zoom before the event.

About Greg:
Raised on a family farm near Methven, mid-Canterbury, Greg earned a Bachelor of Agriculture from Massey and worked in an agri-business consultancy firm in Ashburton, as operations manager in a livestock export company and as grain marketing manager before beginning the farming journey in 1996 at Mangarara Station Elsthorpe. There, Greg and wife Rachel are transitioning their traditional sheep and cattle station to a farm of the future with regenerative farming systems, restoring ecosystems, tree planting, sequestering carbon and building healthy soil.
