Two speakers. One night. A suspicious amount of flour. This month at Wolverine Farm Publick House we are giving the evening over to baked goods — and to the people who could not leave them alone.

Tickets are $8, or $4 for students, Check in starts at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm.

Note on accessibility: We take our mission to deliver fun, nerdy content to all very seriously. The upstairs space where we have the show is only accessible by stairs. Bake First, Ask Questions Later

My first sourdough went straight into the bin, and in hindsight it was probably fine. Since then I've baked countless of loaves, started new starters in Belgium, Canada and in Norway, and I've found out they're a lot harder to kill than I feared. I'm no expert, just someone who has made plenty of mistakes with flour and water, and I'll share the highs, the lows, and the loaves that deserved better. Expect a little bit of science, a few confessions, and possibly the argument that I should have baked first and asked questions later.
