Start off with a presentation by Nerd Nite LA, your local "TED talks with beer"-style event series, for an education for the ages (that age being 21+). Then, plunge into an exciting story with visuals, music, sound effects, and footage drawn from legendary video games. Your decisions determine the story and set list in the world's first Audience RPG!

Summary: P.T. or Playable Teaser was a critically acclaimed free game released back in 2014 for the PS4. This roughly 2hr horror game made by the team that made Metal Gear Solid became one of the scariest games ever released and was regarded as one of the cleverest marketing gimmicks in the history of video games. The game took place in a single hallway, and yet sparked numerous discussions, theories and conspiracies unlike any game before it. How did they create 2hrs of gameplay from a hallway and make it one the scariest games ever? What made PT so influential, and how has PT's design aged since it's release 10 years ago? Join me as we peel back the layers that make up this landmark horror game!

Bio: Dave Osei is a Level Designer and has been in the games industry for 13 years working on various multiplayer titles such as Apex Legends and Call of Duty. While he loves working on multiplayer game design, he also loves playing, dissecting and trying to understand the design principles of others games. His favorite games of all time are Metroid Prime, Bloodborne, Final Fantasy X, Hollow Knight and Nier Automata.
