When someone asks if you want to hear a fun fact, is your response "Heck yeah"? Congratulations, there's an event just for you! Join us at The River Arts District Brewing Company for a night of outrageously fun facts and tasty beverages.
Nerd Nite is a monthly event held in 100+ cities around the world featuring fun-yet-informative presentations across a variety of subjects.
Featuring:
- Reported Hauntings in Asheville’s History (Jenny Bowen, local photographer, historian, folklore enthusiast, and archivist at Buncombe County Special Collections)
- Understanding Gentrification Through Horror Films--DOUBLE FEATURE! (Josh Lown, postdoctoral research fellow at Boston University’s Initiative on Cities)
Plus Star Trek mini-features return with a look at the infamous Sub Rosa (aka the one where Beverly f*cks a ghost).

Self-service cancellation is available up to 7 pm the day before the show. If you purchase tickets and know you cannot attend, please cancel your tickets asap to free up tickets for others.

FAQs
- I bought tickets, but can't attend. Can I cancel my tickets?
Yes! Please use the self-service cancellation option in your Humanitix portal to cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This frees up tickets for other people who would like to attend. Go to your order confirmation email, and tap/click "Manage Order".
Self-service cancellation is only available starting 24 hours after the order was placed, and up until 7pm the day before the show. If you attempt to cancel an order that you have made within the past 24 hours or that is past the deadline, you will receive an error message.
The card/PayPal account used to make the purchase must still be valid in order to receive a refund.
- I have an issue with my order/I have other questions. Whom should I contact?
Please email us directly at asheville@nerdnite.com rather than sending a message through Humanitix's portal or the web form on our website. This ensures the highest visibility for your email.
If you have accidentally placed multiple orders, you can cancel the extra orders using the self-service cancellation feature.
