Nerd Nite is an evening of entertaining and educational presentations. Speakers present for 15 minutes, followed by a brief Q&A with the audience.

PRESENTATION #1:
“How Pediatric Pharmacists Can Save the World” by Marry Vuong
Marry Vuong, PharmD, BCPPS, is a Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist and the Chief of Staff at Perfecting Peds and Founder of her own line, the Lucy Tran Collection. She earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy and bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Florida, followed by a PGY-1 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. With nearly six years of experience in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and General Pediatrics, Marry is dedicated to improving the lives of children through innovative and compassionate pharmaceutical care and ensuring all people feel confident in their clothing.
PRESENTATION #2:
“Who Gets In and Why: Inside the New World of College Admissions”
Shalini grew up in Miami and is a proud graduate of a Miami-Dade County Public School. As a student at Yale, she worked in the admissions office which sparked a lifelong interest in college admissions. Later, she served in the admissions offices at Duke and UChicago before moving back home to Miami. Now, she and her colleague support local students with their college applications. Shalini enjoys tennis and long walks at Publix.

“The Markov Chain Monte Carlo Revolution: A Gripping Tale in the History of AI” by Christine Oscai
Christine Oscai is a Senior Product Manager for AI Products and a freelance AI consultant. She has a background in data science and has worked with various industry-leading clients to help them implement Machine Learning-enabled solutions.
