Master Pain Relief with the Power of Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Blocks
Join us for a full-day, hands-on ultrasound-guided nerve block course tailored for emergency and acute care clinicians. Guided by expert faculty comprising regional anaesthetists and FACEMs – this immersive workshop focuses on the nerve blocks most commonly performed in the ED. You’ll rotate through scanning stations, practising techniques on both phantoms and live volunteer models, ensuring a rich learning experience.
The program features upper limb, axial, and lower limb blocks with tutorial-style teaching, video demonstrations and extensive scanning time. You’ll receive pre-reading materials to support your educational journey. Whether you’re new to nerve blocks or refining your skills, this course offers practical, high-impact training to enhance patient care through effective pain relief.
The blocks that we will cover:
Upper Limb: supraclavicular brachial plexus block, interscalene block, superficial cervical plexus block, ulnar and median nerve block
Lower Limb: PENG block, fascia iliaca plane block, femoral nerve block, popliteal nerve block, trans gluteal sciatica block/hydrodissection (time permitting), posterior tibial nerve block
Axial: erector spinae plane block, serratus anterior block, transabdominal plane block (time permitting)
