Nesian Threads, curated by the dynamic mother-daughter team behind Cokana Fashion (Ota Valu and Helena Cocker-Valu), is a powerful runway showcase of local Pasifika designers, community-grown talent, and stunning repurposed fashion. Expect a celebration of Moana Nui-a-Kiwa textiles, cultural heritage, and creativity that stitches generations together.​

To celebrate Polynesian heritage, the night also features the textiles of island nations throughout Moana Nui-a-Kiwa. We are proud to showcase the diasporic artisans in our communities keeping art, craft & cultural heritage traditions alive.

This event is supported by the Rosebank Business Association, and takes place at Mode Fabrics, Avondale, a near 40year-long family-run business in Avondale. Please meet our Mode Fabrics host and other Rosebank Business Association members from 5pm.

5.00pm - Doors open I RBA hosting and welcome I Entertainment begins

6pm - MC welcome
