Event description
The third annual NetThing Forum will be held online on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 November 2021.
Join us for two days of engaging content and discussion on issues pertaining to the Internet and technology in Australia. Here, you have the opportunity to be a part of a multidisciplinary community working together to explore relevant topics and collaborate on solutions.
This year we have chosen the metanarrative Building Bridges to encapsulate the spirit of NetThing. It is within this that our four themes for NetThing 2021 lie:
- Health - e.g. COVID-19 pandemic, resilience, healthtech
- Inclusion - e.g. accessibility, digital divide, gender, disadvantaged communities
- Trust - e.g. misogyny, security, digital rights, ethics, Internet infrastructure, disinformation
- Environment - e.g. smart cities, Internet’s environmental impact, e-waste
Registration is FREE, but if you can give a gold coin or small donation to help cover costs please do.Â
