Neuk Create and Connect: 'See With Me' - Exhibition Tour and Workshop at the Fruitmarket Gallery

We have been invited by the Fruitmarket Gallery for a tour and workshop at their upcoming exhibition 'See With Me'. This is a great opportunity to learn about new ways in which exhibitions can be made more inclusive of visually impaired people, as well as the chance to see and experience artwork made by visually impaired artists. 

Here is what the Fruitmarket say about this workshop:

The See with Me Exhibition will be presented in the Fruitmarket Warehouse and will include a range of work produced by our blind and visually impaired participants. We will present accessible materials, tactile sculpture and relief drawing, enabling visually impaired visitors to experience the surface, shape, texture and volume of the work. Audiences will be invited to touch the artwork, and our Gallery Information Assistants will be on hand to provide visual descriptions and guide people through the exhibition. We will also provide a fun accessible creative workshop in our accessible Studio for participants from Neuk Collective, which will enable people to experiment with various art materials, equipment and techniques to test out what is accessible and enjoyable for each participant.

This event is not just for those of us who are visually impaired, we think it will be interesting for everyone!
