About the presenter
Em Hammond is a late-diagnosed Autistic and ADHD speech pathologist, illustrator, and the person behind the NeuroWild social media account. She is also a mum to three neurodivergent children and brings both professional and lived experience to her work.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:
Use neurodiversity-affirming ideas and practical tools to support Autistic and ADHD children at home, school, and in the community
Better understand common misunderstandings about Autistic and ADHD behaviour and communication
Recognise less visible experiences, including RSD, and how they affect wellbeing and self-esteem
Understand how lived experiences shape identity and self-advocacy in neurodivergent children
Reflect on adult responses and learn ways to support children while respecting their changing needs and capacity
