These Are The Projects We Do Together
These Are The Projects We Do Together are an interdisciplinary team operating creative spaces and designing and delivering a wide range of creative projects. We focus on education and experimentation across all our projects and sites. We are architects, designers, makers, caretakers, curators, programmers and educators. We believe in the importance of public space, equally accessible to all. Our practice is committed to developing experimental ideas in the fields of art, architecture and education through the design, programming and ongoing operation of Testing Grounds, Siteworks and The Quarry.
Led by Millie Cattlin and Joseph Norster, the team has a hands-on approach with an attitude defined by generosity and caretaking towards community, infrastructure, local community and the public.
OCTA
The Office of Culture, Technology and Architecture (OCTA) is a non-traditional architectural practice. An ongoing focus of OCTA's work is the relationship architecture has to culture, society and contemporary life. To date, OCTA's work consists of domestic projects, office interiors, public art, installations, exhibitions and research.
Sonelo
Sonelo Architects is a Melbourne based architecture and interior design studio founded by Wilson Tang and Elodie Lim. Collaboratively with their clients, they explore design in its multi-layered realms of the project brief, site, form, functionality, materiality, affordability, and connection with the landscape to carve a holistic and robust design response. Sonelo are committed to creating a quiet timeless architecture that celebrates the brief and the landscape. The studio works on various residential and commercial fit-out projects with a main focus on residential new and residential alterations additions.
Tsai Design
Tsai Design challenges buildings to step up; to make better use of the spaces they occupy, and to improve the lives of the people who reside in them. Where you see awkward and unconventional, we see opportunity and potential. Through our problem-solving approach and a collaborative effort, we transform homes with designs that may look simple on appearance, but are working hard to make your life much easier.
Dimly lit terraces and awkward apartments. Busy shops with underutilised residences above. Family homes that don’t support life with kids. Holiday houses that are all work and no play.
