Event description

Free online Yoga Nidra meditation at the start of each Lunar Cycle (New Moon) during 2020 facilitated via Zoom. An experienced certified yoga nidra facilitator, Amy will guide each monthly session with a collective intention aligned to each New Moon's specific significance. The session will comprise an opening introduction about the specific New Moon alignment to collective intention, 45 minute meditation during which you may visualise your personal intention and a closing circle. 

Significance of New Moon

Our Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence Earth’s tides and the water within our bodies – arousing our emotions, behaviours and consciousness. The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our dreams, feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past. The NEW MOON offers us the opportunity to learn from the past and creatively unlock our intentions at the beginning of 29 day lunar monthly cycle. 

A time to connect with our 'yin' energies, the New Moon is a great time to set intentions or begin new projects for the forthcoming cycle. Actively plant the seeds of your heartfelt desire on the New Moon by consciously visualising your intention during Amy's guidance of Yoga Nidra.

About Facilitator

Amy Livingstone is a Certified HeartMath Coach and Mentor, Certified Yoga Nidra Meditation Facilitator - Lineages of Bihar and Amrit, Certified Yoga Instructor, Crystal Sound Therapy Practitioner and founder of House of Yogin.

Taught to mediate as a child, Amy has been practising yoga and meditation throughout her life. Moving out of international corporate sector to rebuild her wellbeing, she now supports individuals and businesses to prioritise wellbeing through neuroscience, meditation and movement. Amy has trained with world-class leading experts in meditation, movement, flow states, eastern philosophies and western psychology both in Australia and India. She works with wellness clinics, large corporates, military veteran & first responder communities across Victoria. 

Amy is passionate about sharing ancient wisdom and holistic medicine modalities through which she herself has experienced healing and transformation.
