Welcoming the Month of Iyyar 

This New Moon, we gather to welcome the Hebrew month of Iyyar — a time known for its energy of “breaking through of the light.”

In Nisan, we simplified, cleared space, and let go — stepping forward with trust and a newfound sense of freedom. Now, Iyar invites us to let the light in. To allow it to gently break through the layers and illuminate what’s ready to emerge.

As the Israelites wandered through the desert, they began to rekindle their relationship with the Divine. With each step, the light grew stronger — guiding them, transforming them, and teaching them how to walk in partnership with the sacred.

The attribute of Iyyar is contemplation (through counting of the Omer). This month invites us to pause, reflect, and open ourselves to inspirational guidance that gently moves us forward on our path.

Aligned with the energies of Topaz and Clove, Iyyar carries both clarity and warmth — supporting healing, vision, and a deeper connection to self and spirit.
