Description

The New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA) is a 48-hour modern rite of passage for men.

It is an invitation and a challenge.

A chance to step away from ordinary life for one weekend and enter a structured, supported environment with other men who are also willing to look honestly at themselves, their lives, their relationships and the way they show up in the world.

The NWTA began in 1985 in America and has been held in 23 countries. This November 2026, the New Warrior Training Adventure will be held in Woodfordia for the second time, after 26 years of this training in Queensland.

The NWTA is an immersive group process for men who are ready to explore what else is possible.

It is structured, supported and facilitated by trained men.

It asks men to step out of distraction, meet challenge, and reconnect with purpose, accountability, emotional honesty and brotherhood.

Who is this for?

This weekend may speak to men who are:

•        carrying more than they say

•        feeling disconnected from themselves or others

•        seeking purpose, clarity or direction

•        wanting healthier relationships

•        ready to take more responsibility for how they show up

•        curious about men’s work, but not sure where to start

You do not need to be in crisis.

You do not need to have everything worked out.

Curiosity is enough.

You may be reading this because you care about a man.

You may see the tiredness, the distance, the pressure he carries, or the way he wants to be present but sometimes disappears into himself.

The NWTA is not about fixing him.

It is not about blaming men.

It is not about asking you to convince him.

For some men, the first step is simply a conversation.

You can share the link.

You can invite him to take a look.

You can let him choose.

From arrival on Friday to departure on Sunday, participants are asked to be fully engaged in the training.

During the weekend, participants will not have access to cars, computers or phones, except in emergencies.

This helps create a focused space away from the noise and demands of everyday life.

Following the weekend, on the next Tuesday evening after the training, MKPQ holds a Homecoming gathering.

This is an important part of the process and an opportunity for local Queensland men to be welcomed into the wider MKPQ community after the weekend.

Local participants are strongly encouraged to attend.

Register now.

Or book a confidential discovery conversation with Ian our enrolments coordinator if you are unsure whether this weekend is right for you.
