Meet your host and facilitators
Siobhan Bulfin
Kia ora, I'm so excited to welcome you to our new year sadhana (meaning 'practice' in Sanskrit). This is an opportunity to explore what truly matters to you and embrace the new year with mindful awareness and a clear sense of purpose.
My background is all things wellbeing. I completed my yoga teacher training in India in 2000, teaching corporate and community classes for over 15 years. The last 10 years I led a wellbeing company delivering cognitive behaviour change and emotional wellbeing programmes for GP practices and patients throughout New Zealand.
I am trained in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT/ACT), neurodynamic breathwork, meditation and mindfulness practices and a range of other modalities. I am a constant learner and am particularly interested in neuroplasticity and our brain's ability to 'rewire' releasing us from preferences, trauma, attachments and triggers.
Nature is my sacred space and in my spare time I like to hang out with trees, mountains or the sea. I look forward to meeting you.

The word yoga means so much to me. It is a coming home, regardless of where I find myself physically. It is a space I can authentically express my deepest self, a state I get to witness all that I think I am and embrace the infinite possibilities of what could be!
I have been a full time yoga teacher since 2013. I love to imbue a balance of yin, yang, meditation and yoga philosophy into each offering. I have been continuing to expand my knowledge and more recently into Shaking Medicine, based on TRE-Tension, Stress and Trauma Release (Dr. David Berceli PhD).
Daily meditation, sauna and hiking are all forms of celebrating life for me. When I am not teaching you can find me trail running, reading non-fiction, enjoying matcha or eating everything that Queen Sally’s Diamond Deli offers.

Kia ora, I’m Lisa and it’s my great pleasure to be part of this day with you. Being in spaces with others where we connect deeply with ourselves, others, ideas and possibilities is my happy place. To me experiences together are powerful. Personal journeys shared in a place with others, ‘riffing’ ideas, exploring and expanding our meaning making systems can enable us to make leaps we would never make alone.
I enjoy studying and furthering my knowledge in psychology, neuroscience, and practice as a pilates teacher, coach and Immunity to Change facilitator. With these in my toolbox and ongoing learning, I enjoy facilitating spaces where people can explore the edges of their possibilities and transcend those in spaces connected with others on their own exploration of this crazy game of life.
