Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration- an unforgettable, free, family-friendly, beachfront concert performed by Miami’s premiere professional orchestra, Orchestra Miami, led by Miami native and Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. Ring in the New Year with Maestro Rinaldi, the 42-piece symphony orchestra, and our special guests, Miami based, GRAMMY® and Latin-GRAMMY® nominated Afro-Cuban Funk Band PALO!
PALO! brings their exciting style of Cuban Salsa music to Miami Beach this New Year’s Eve for Orchestra Miami’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration! PALO!’s catchy original songs have always featured extraordinary musicians. The current lineup includes the incredible vocals of charismatic Cuban singers Miriam Martinez, Dannah Santiago and Julio Cesar. The scorching percussion of Dayron Gallardo and Otto Santana punctuate the performances with Cuban fire. Latin Jazz saxophonist Aldo Salvent brings an electrifying unpredictability to every song. Bandleader Steve Roitstein fuses these elements with a foundation of edgy, unforgettable rhythms.
The festivities start at 8 PM with a performance by the Orchestra Miami String Quartet performing festive music to get you in the mood. The full orchestra takes the stage at 10 PM and the performance concludes at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display, sponsored by the City of Miami Beach!
