Now in its 4th year, we are thrilled to once again bring you the NEW YEARS EVE BOAR SWAMP CHARITY CAMPDRAFT GALA.

The Event:

Enjoy at catered 2 course meal and entertainment by renowned local band 6210, as well as a Campdraft spectacle brought to you by over 100 of the best competitors from the west competing for a coveted $8,000 prize pool.

The Child Cancer Research Foundation:

The New Years Eve Boar Swamp Charity Campdraft is proud to support the Child Cancer Research Foundation, with 100% of profits from the gala dinner, auction and raffles to be donated to the Foundation.

Australia has one of the highest incidences of childhood cancer worldwide. One in 500 Australian children will develop a cancer before 15 years of age — that’s 600 Australian children diagnosed every year. Childhood cancer is the single greatest cause of death from disease in Australian children. 

The quest to find cures for childhood cancer is one of medicine’s greatest success stories. Fifty years ago only two percent of children with cancer survived. Medical research alone has improved overall survival rates to 80 percent. With childhood cancer still the leading cause of death from disease in Australian children, the Child Cancer Research Foundation is committed to ensuring ground-breaking research continues so that the future generations will be the ones to live cancer free.

The Foundation relies on the generous support of the community to continue its vital research, as they do not receive State or Federal funding.

Event Information and FAQ'S:

This is a family friendly event. 

BYO drinks and alcohol. **This event does not carry a liquor licence. Drinks and alcohol will not be available for purchase. Don't forget to BYO** 

Open Times - Gates open at 12:00 noon with the campdraft event commencing at this time. A program for the day to be announced closer to the event. Evening entertainment will commence from 4pm and includes; Campdraft final, gala dinner, live auction and raffles, before hitting the dance floor with our headline act - band 6210 to bring in the 2024!

Chairs, picnic blankets, rugs - The evenings dinner and formalities are a seated event. Tables and chairs provided and will be pre allocated. If you wish to come early and watch the afternoon campdraft action, please feel free to bring collapsible camping chairs, picnic rugs etc.

Camping is permitted. Plan ahead and bring your caravan or swag. On site toilets and showers available. 

Outside food and dietary requirements - You are welcome to bring outside food / snacks / pre dinner platters etc. We will have coffee and ice cream vendors on site. Whilst we will make every attempt to accomodate dietary requirements, if you do have a specific dietary requirement, we recommend bringing your own food.

Dress Code - Country Glam! Don't forget, this is an outdoor event. 

Payment facilities - There will be no ATM facilities available on site. We strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance. Square reader card payment facilities will be available for purchase of raffle / auction items, and also with out outside vendors.

Dogs - Unfortunately no dogs will be permitted.

Outside vendors - Coffee Van and Ice Cream Van available on site all day.
