Artists:
Bromham (Adelaide)- Bromham is a community of musicians whose passion for music, life and joyful silliness is tangible and infectious. Being named after their lead singer’s mother’s maiden name is fitting for a group who takes influences from all over the world to tell stories about those closest to them. These stories bring audiences on a journey that never fails to leave them feeling uplifted. This big family has become well loved on the Australian festival circuit, from their shows at Womadelaide and many of the nation’s biggest folk festivals. Come and find out why audiences are so drawn to this lovable bunch!
Shark & Fox (Canada/Australia) - Propelled by accordion pumping through the subs, twanging gourd banjo licks on a fretless children’s Stratocaster, vintage synths controlled by a violin, and an Argentinian bombo fashioned into a drum kit, “Shark & Fox” hide their toughest questions inside a pile of murder ballads, moving sideways through the traditional building blocks of music, in search of the shortcut to your heart. Shark & Fox consists of Canada’s Jaron Freeman-Fox on violin, 12-string viola d’amore, and fretless guitar, Australia’s Emily-Rose Sharkova on accordion and keyboards, and Rose Callaghan on the drums, with all three members lending their voices in a collective roar, or intricate harmony.
Jeunae Elita (Sunshine Coast) - Prepare to be spellbound. Jeunae is no ordinary artist. The quality and depth of her vocals and musicianship is otherworldly and transcendent of magic and myth, of lore and of heart.
