EVENT DESCRIPTION

WELCOME THE NEW YEAR with an afternoon of drumming and music-making with other women. Spending 1.5 hours with other women drumming, laughing, breathing, and making music as we welcome in 2025. This facilitated experience is perfect whether you are brand new or an experienced participant. NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Instruments will be provided, but if you have your own drum or other instrument, you are welcome to bring it. If you wear rings or bracelets with trinkets, please remove them before drumming - this protects both YOU and the drum.

If you are new to any type of music making, do not worry. This facilitated Drum Circle begins with brief instructions on how to play the drums and other rhythm instruments to create a satisfying sound without hurting yourself or the instrument. Seasoned players also benefit from this brief instruction as it is a great way to warm up the body for playing.

This is a smoke and alcohol-free environment. Cost is $15/pp for this 90-minute Drum Circle

LOCATION: B Well National Fitness Center located at 605 Darlington Rd, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. There is parking available in front of the building. If you are willing to remove your shoes to protect the fitness center’s floor please do so. You can bring a pair of slippers or drum in no shoes. If removing shoes is not an option for you please wipe them thoroughly on the mats provided.

Because this is a fitness center participants are required to complete a waiver. This is part of the ticket purchase process and will be available at the door for any Walk-ins.

Do I have to know how to play the drum or any instrument?

NO. A Great thing about a facilitated drum circle is that NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. You'll be shown how to play your instrument and then create whatever sounds you'd like as we make music together.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

B Well Nation Fitness Center is located on Darlington Road with ample parking

What can I bring into the event?

You are welcome to bring your own drum or other instrument but NOT required as instruments will be provided.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. Contact us to let us know who will be attending in your place.

Who is Humanitix?

Humanitix, is the online ticketing platform M3 Music Therapy utilizes. It is a non-profit organization (registered 501C3). They donate 100% of profits from booking fees to fund education projects for the world's most disadvantaged children to close the global education gap. Your host, M3 Music Therapy, is splitting the cost of the processing fees with you. We are covering 75% of the processing fees and you are covering 25%.

REFUND POLICY:

Full refund is available 1 day before the event.

If you have to cancel within 24 hours reach out to M3 Music Therapy and a refund will be issued OR transfer your registration to another Women’s Drum Circle.

No refunds for No Shows - registrant does not attend AND does not notify host before 7:00 pm

Processing fees will not be refunded for either party. If you think you can attend a future Women’s Drum Circle simply ask for your order to be transferred and to what date.

General Health Precautions:

To keep everyone healthy and safe, please stay home if you are not feeling well. Let Michelle know by 2:00 pm the day of the Drum Circle and your registration can be transferred or refunded. Most important is that you take care of yourself - please DO NOT attend if you are feeling unwell. Masks wearing is always welcome and, at this time, is your choice.
